Mantis helps organizations improve building performance by integrating energy, facility operations, and sustainability. They work across the full facility lifecycle, from planning and design to field execution and asset management, for commercial, industrial, data center, and complex mechanical system portfolios. Their core areas include Building Controls, Energy Efficiency, Energy Advisory, and Facility Management, encompassing HVAC optimization, BMS/BAS and EPMS controls, lighting upgrades, energy brokerage, building envelope assessments, and construction management. This role is not a traditional PM position; it requires a deep understanding of how BMS systems function, beyond just schedule management. The BMS Project Manager is responsible for ensuring projects remain within budget, on schedule, and adhere to contracts by managing risks, tracking financial performance, and controlling change orders. This requires a strong grasp of Building Management Systems (BMS), controls infrastructure, and platforms like Tridium Niagara and Distech Controls to effectively coordinate between engineering, field technicians, subcontractors, and clients. The PM's goal is to protect profit margins, prevent scope creep, and ensure technically sound project execution from design through commissioning and closeout.
