About The Position

Honeywell Multisite is seeking a Building Automation Systems Programmer to support programming and remote commissioning of Tridium Niagara-based Energy Management Systems for major national account customers across North America. In this hybrid role, the programmer works on projects from initial programming through system commissioning and collaborates with Project Managers, Engineers, Technicians, and customers to deliver building automation solutions. The role focuses on complex HVAC and energy management projects in a primarily remote work environment, with travel of up to 5% as needed.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience developing and supporting HVAC, Building Automation Systems (BAS), or Energy Management Systems.
At least 3 years of hands-on experience programming and commissioning Tridium Niagara-based building automation systems.
At least 5 years of experience with Niagara N4 platform development, integration, and system configuration, or completion of formal Niagara N4 certification or training.
Proven experience interpreting control drawings, wiring diagrams, and sequences of operation.
Experience commissioning HVAC control systems in commercial or industrial environments.

Nice To Haves

Experience integrating and troubleshooting third-party BAS and controls platforms.
Working knowledge of BACnet, BACnet/IP, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, MQTT, LonWorks, and other building automation protocols.
Experience supporting migrations, upgrades, or integrations between Niagara-based and legacy BAS platforms.
Familiarity with Siemens Building X, Johnson Controls FX, Honeywell Optimizer, Honeywell WEBs, LogicAlerton, Lynxspring, Freedom, Vykon, Comfortpoint, or NexRev.
Understanding of advanced HVAC control strategies, analytics, energy optimization, alarming, trends, graphics, and enterprise integrations.

Responsibilities

Develop and configure building automation system applications using Tridium Niagara N4 and related platforms.
Program systems based on control drawings, sequences of operation, specifications, and field reports.
Perform remote commissioning and startup support with on-site contractors and technicians.
Troubleshoot programming, integration, and HVAC controls issues.
Create commissioning, testing, and quality assurance documentation.
Support Project Managers with project status updates and technical issue resolution.
Serve as a technical resource for customers, field teams, and internal stakeholders.
Provide technical support for sales, installation, and service teams.
Ensure projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
Travel up to 5% as needed.
