About The Position
The Building Automation Systems Manager will lead Building Automation Systems (BAS) strategy across Uline’s portfolio of more than 55 facilities and develop a team of Building Systems Engineers. The role focuses on modernizing automation systems, establishing enterprise-wide standards, and evaluating technologies to advance facility operations. The position is based on-site at Uline’s Corporate Headquarters in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, and requires travel to Uline’s North American locations as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- At least 7 years of Building Automation Systems experience, including BAS programming and controls design.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls architecture, and building performance optimization.
- Proven leadership experience managing technical teams and large-scale building automation initiatives.
- Ability to travel to Uline’s North American locations as needed.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy, design, and optimization of HVAC controls and Building Automation Systems across Uline’s facilities.
- Manage and develop a team of Building Systems Engineers by setting priorities, establishing best practices, and providing technical guidance.
- Oversee BAS upgrades and integrations, and establish enterprise-wide standards and cybersecurity practices.
- Partner with Operations, Facilities, and Construction teams to identify and execute building improvements that support reliable and efficient operations.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and automation opportunities to improve energy efficiency, system reliability, and workplace comfort.
