About The Position

As a Building Automation Sales Representative, your primary responsibility is to drive sales of BMS by leveraging your expertise in building automation and control systems. Your role involves engaging with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and offer tailored BMS solutions. Key responsibilities include identifying and pursuing sales opportunities for BMS, understanding customer requirements, and presenting compelling service proposals. You will also collaborate with technical teams to ensure that proposed BMS services align with customer needs and technical capabilities. In addition, you will be tasked with building and maintaining strong client relationships, providing excellent customer service, and serving as a trusted advisor on BMS offerings. Your role also involves conducting market research to identify potential clients and staying updated on industry trends and competitor activities. Overall, your role as a BMS Service Sales Representative involves driving sales through a deep understanding of building management systems, strong client engagement, and the ability to tailor BMS service offerings to meet customer needs and expectations.

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of building management systems, including HVAC, lighting, and energy management systems.
  • Technical expertise to effectively communicate the value of Building Management Systems to clients, addressing their specific needs and challenges.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to articulate the benefits of BMS services in terms of energy efficiency, cost savings, and overall building performance.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, including technical experts and project managers.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • 4+ years of BMS or HVAC industry experience.
  • 4+ years of sales experience.
