About The Position

Seeking Building Automation Control Technicians to install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial building automation systems. Candidates may be considered at an entry-level or experienced level, with pay based on their background and training needs. There is a $350 Attendance Bonus for perfect attendance during the first 30 days. The pay is $30.00/hour, with a schedule of Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. This is a Temp-to-Hire assignment.

Requirements

HVAC background required
Must know how to use a multimeter
Must have experience connecting and working with wiring
Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams and blueprints
Basic computer knowledge required
Must be able to read, speak, and understand English
Drug Screen Required
Background Check Required
Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) Required
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Client Interview Required

Nice To Haves

Completion of an HVAC technical program or apprenticeship preferred
1-2 years of hands-on HVAC, access control, building automation, or video security experience preferred
IT/networking knowledge is helpful
Schneider and Niagara software experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain building automation and HVAC control systems
Work with HVAC controls, access control, video security, and related systems
Connect and troubleshoot electrical wiring
Use a multimeter for testing and diagnostics
Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics
Assist with commercial installations, system setup, testing, and performance tuning
Diagnose and resolve system and equipment issues
Maintain documentation related to system testing, configuration, and performance
Follow verbal and written instructions accurately
Utilize computers and basic IT/networking concepts as part of system setup and troubleshooting
