About The Position

Provide custodial services for Applied Research Laboratories. Responsibilities include cleaning, sweeping, mopping, dusting, scrubbing tile work and floors, stairways, restrooms, offices, and labs. This role also involves waxing and polishing floors, cleaning up after lab events, and moving furniture and equipment. Other related functions may be assigned. The position requires the ability to work a standard shift of 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. and may involve working in a restricted area, subject to security measures and a government security investigation for access to classified information. The applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Requirements

Six months of experience in custodial maintenance.
Demonstrated ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, maintain a professional demeanor, work as a team member and effectively communicate with all groups of clients.
The employee must be able to accommodate a work schedule of 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
Able to accept supervision.
Regular and punctual attendance.
Will be working in a restricted area and applicant selected may be subject to appropriate security measures.
US Citizen.
Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information at the level appropriate to the project requirements of the position.
