That end-to-end ownership lets us offer customers real flexibility, saving time and money for more than 4,000 properties insured for billions in value nationwide. You'll work in small pods with a GM who sets direction, but how you get there and what you build along the way is largely up to you. Work closely with your pod, leadership, and cross-functional partners. Share what you know, ask what you don't. About You You're a problem solver who happens to write code, not the other way around. You care about what gets built as much as how it gets built. You're comfortable with ambiguity, energized by ownership, and sharp enough to develop a working understanding of the business you're building for.

Requirements

2-5+ years of experience in full-stack software development with a track record of shipping real-world applications
Background in CS/EE, a coding bootcamp, or equivalent hands-on experience building production systems
Proficiency across Frontend (TypeScript, JavaScript, React), Backend (Node.js, Express.js, REST APIs), and Infrastructure (relational databases, Git, AWS)
Demonstrated fluency with AI-powered development tools (Cursor, Claude, Copilot, etc.) — not just awareness, but active use in your workflow
Ability to think beyond code: you consider the user, the business case, and the tradeoffs, not just the implementation
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset — you ask good questions, give direct feedback, and make the people around you better
Excited to work in-person or hybrid from our downtown Austin office
