About The Position

Zehnder Rittling, a leader in hydronic and radiant heating since 1946, is seeking a detail-oriented and fast-paced individual for a Builder/Unit Assembler position on the 1st shift. This role is primarily responsible for the assembly of units for the product line. Requirements

• Comfortable working 10 hours a day.
• Basic mechanical skills using small manual and power tools.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Specific vision requirements include close vision.
• Must regularly be able to use hands to handle parts and tools.
• Must regularly stand throughout workday, reach and lift.
• Must have the ability to regularly use small hand, manual and power tools.
• Good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity.
• Must be dependable and have reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in an assembly line manufacturing operation preferred.
• Prior vocational/trade school background a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reviews job orders to determine customer specifications.
• Performs incoming inspection on material/parts prior to assembly.
• Constructs pre-fabricated sheet metal cabinets and installs components using small manual and power tools.
• Performs sub-assembly of electrical components following wiring diagrams and work instructions.
• Tests assembled units on HiPot and Final Run Test.
• Works at an appropriate tempo to meet production quantities and maintain quality standards.
• Works in a safe manner, utilizing all required personal protective equipment.
• Assists in all other areas of department and maintains flexibility to transfer to other departments to assist when needed.
• Works as part of the team and continuously seeks to identify and eliminate non-value added processes and waste.
• Sustains 5S program.
