About The Position

Timesavers is a Minnesota-based manufacturer of industrial sanding and finishing equipment. We are seeking a highly experienced Electrical Assembler / Panel Builder who can independently build industrial control panels from prints with minimal supervision. This role is intended for candidates who have direct, hands-on panel-building experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. This is not an entry-level or trainee position. Candidates must be able to produce complete, production-ready control panels without constant supervision or training.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of direct experience building industrial electrical control panels
  • Proven ability to independently build panels from electrical schematics and BOMs
  • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings
  • Hands-on experience mounting and wiring: PLC hardware, Relays and contactors, Circuit breakers and disconnects, Power supplies, Terminal blocks and wire duct
  • Demonstrated experience with: Point-to-point wiring, Wire labeling and ferruling, Clean wire routing and panel organization
  • Proficiency using hand and power tools for drilling, tapping, and enclosure prep
  • Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and correct wiring errors independently
  • Strong understanding of industrial electrical practices and shop safety
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building UL 508A-compliant control panels
  • Technical schooling or certification in electrical or industrial controls
  • Experience working with PLC-based automation systems
  • Manufacturing or OEM equipment experience

Responsibilities

  • Build, wire, and assemble electrical control panels and subassemblies from prints
  • Layout, mount, and wire components accurately and efficiently
  • Drill, tap, and prepare enclosures and back panels
  • Inspect finished panels for quality, accuracy, and compliance
  • Troubleshoot wiring and component issues
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area
  • Follow company procedures, electrical codes, and safety standards
  • Collaborate with engineering and assembly teams as needed
