About The Position

Czarnowski is one of the four studios of the Czarnowski Collective. It combines operations, strategy, design, and fabrication to create exhibits and events that engage communities, generate brand enthusiasm, and educate consumers. It’s been over 75 years since we opened our doors, but we’re still not resting on our reputation or accolades. We’re wondering “what if...” anticipating what’s next and embracing our role within the Czarnowski Collective as forward-thinkers for forward-thinking brands. Joining the Czarnowski Collective means the opportunity to be more than a number, more than a job title, more than a spectator. Candidate will work individually as well as part of a team to produce and repair cabinets, fabricate tradeshow exhibit pieces, and other projects. Candidate needs to be able to work with plans and fabrication drawings with a range of materials (including plywood, MDF, laminate, and plexi) on multiple types of equipment (including table saw, router, etc.). The ability to work efficiently to meet project standards and deadlines is a must.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Minimum of two years of hands-on building and cabinetmaking experience and/or laminate experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to do the job
  • Must have a basic set of hand tools, to include hammer, tape measure, level, and framing square
  • Reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

  • Construction background helpful
  • Exhibit industry or custom-build experience helpful

Responsibilities

  • Effectively work with a team of builders to construct assigned projects from start to completion.
  • Accurately interpret and work from plans and fabrication drawings.
  • Ability to successfully manage construction of multiple custom projects.
  • Experience working with a range of materials, to include plywood, MDF, laminate, and plexi.
  • Ability to use multiple types of equipment, to include a table saw, router, etc.
  • Regulate material usage to ensure cost effectiveness and efficiency on project.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
