The Builder Account Support Specialist plays a vital role in supporting builder accounts, ensuring accuracy in product orders, tracking project timelines, and coordinating closely with internal teams. The ideal candidate enjoys solving problems, thrives in a collaborative environment, and excels at maintaining order in a fast-paced, detail-driven role.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in data entry, order processing, or related admin role
  • Detail-oriented with strong Excel skills and ability to handle multiple systems
  • Effective communicator with the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Background in wholesale, supply chain, or construction supply
  • Familiarity with plumbing, lighting, or kitchen and bath products
  • Strong problem-solving skills and customer service experience with builders or contractors

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with builders, technicians, and internal teams to manage schedules and material needs
  • Track product availability, job timelines, and order lead times to meet builder deadlines
  • Maintain accurate records and resolve delivery issues with suppliers and customers
  • Enter and update project data, orders, and changes with accuracy
  • Maintain spreadsheets and internal databases for builder accounts
  • Monitor order statuses and address logistics or vendor issues as needed
  • Deliver clear, professional support to internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist builders with product questions, timelines, and substitutions
  • Address issues proactively to ensure builder satisfaction
  • Identify and address inefficiencies; recommend process improvements
  • Follow procedures and ensure alignment across departments
  • Resolve potential project issues quickly and effectively
