ITS14 - Build & Release Specialist
About The Position
The Department of Technology, Management, and Budget (DTMB) supports state agency business operations through various services. This position, within the Technology & Database Support (TDS) division, focuses on enhancing the organization's Software Development Processes. The specialist will design and implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps, and lead the implementation of best practices for secure application lifecycle (SADLC) management build and release processes. This includes automation for CI/CD, branching strategies, automated code review, and testing to align with agency goals.
Requirements
- Possession of a bachelor's degree with at least 21 semester (32 term) credits in computer science, data processing, computer information systems, data communications, networking, systems analysis, computer programming, information assurance, IT project management or mathematics.
- Three years of professional experience equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst P11 or one year equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst 12.
- An associate's degree with 16 semester (24 term) credits in computer science, data processing, computer information systems, data communications, networking, systems analysis, computer programming, mathematics or equivalent; and at least two years of experience as an application programmer, computer operator, or information technology technician and four years of professional experience equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst P11 or one year equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst 12.
- At least an educational level typically acquired through the completion of high school and at least three years of experience as an application programmer, computer operator, or information technology technician and four years of professional experience equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst P11 or one year equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst 12.
