ITS14 - Application Architect, Salesforce
About The Position
The Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) supports state agency business operations through various services. This position is within the Agency Services area of DTMB and functions as a Salesforce Application Architect for the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS). The role supports the modernization and ongoing operations of critical Child Welfare and State Hospital systems, including the Michigan Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information System (MiSACWIS) and the Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System (CCWIS). These systems are vital for delivering services to vulnerable children and families across Michigan and require high availability, scalability, and compliance with state and federal standards. DTMB does not participate in STEM-OPT. This position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $2,500, with $1,250 paid upon hire and the remainder after a 12-month probationary period. This bonus does not apply to current state employees.
Requirements
- Possession of a bachelor's degree with at least 21 semester (32 term) credits in computer science, data processing, computer information systems, data communications, networking, systems analysis, computer programming, information assurance, IT project management or mathematics.
- Three years of professional experience equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst P11 or one year equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst 12.
- An associate's degree with 16 semester (24 term) credits in computer science, data processing, computer information systems, data communications, networking, systems analysis, computer programming, mathematics or equivalent; and at least two years of experience as an application programmer, computer operator, or information technology technician and four years of professional experience equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst P11 or one year equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst 12.
- At least an educational level typically acquired through the completion of high school and at least three years of experience as an application programmer, computer operator, or information technology technician and four years of professional experience equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst P11 or one year equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst 12.
