About The Position

The Buffet Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking buffet food items to menu specifications. Providence Hospitality Partners is based in Denver, Colorado, and founded in 2002. Requirements

Ability to communicate effectively with other team members
Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
Performs work with little or no supervision; works independently
Knowledge of all health and safety regulations and procedures

Ability to manage priorities and workflow
Professional appearance and demeanor
Minimum 2 years' cooking experience, preferably high volume

Responsibilities

Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils
Cook the exact number of items to keep buffet stocked
Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas
Measure ingredients required for specific food items being prepared
Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, or griddles
Pre-cook items such as bacon, in order to prepare them for later use
Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity
Wash, cut, and prepare foods designated for cooking
Clean, stock, and restock workstations
Performs other related duties as assigned by management
