About The Position
The Buffet Attendant is responsible for the preparation and maintenance of the buffet line daily. This role involves setting up and breaking down the buffet, maintaining cleanliness during operation, ensuring appropriate food and supply levels, and adhering to health and hygiene regulations. Dependability, good attendance, and occasional overtime are required. The role may also require working evenings, weekends, or holidays as scheduled. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to interact positively with coworkers and management.
- Ability to prioritize time so that work is accomplished on a dependable basis; is reliable and committed to meeting schedules and deadlines.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative, including being proactive and resourceful, working independently with minimum supervision.
- Ability to win confidence and gain respect through consistent demonstrations of personal courtesy, tact and timely responsiveness.
- Must be able to pass a background check and receive a license or permit from any Regulatory Agency if applicable to perform the essential job functions.
- Serve-safe certified (Food Handlers)

- Sets up and breaks down all aspects of the buffet.
- Maintains cleanliness of the buffet during operation.
- Maintains the appropriate food levels and supplies during operation.
- Adheres to all health and hygiene regulations.

- Other duties as assigned.
