About The Position

The Buffet Attendant position is located in the heart of Times Square, within the Broadway Lounge and Revel & Rye at the NY Marriott Marquis, which offer bold New York flavors, floor-to-ceiling windows, and bustling views. This role is an integral member of the team, playing an essential part in creating a welcoming and seamless dining experience for every guest. The Buffet Attendant is responsible for the appearance, cleanliness, and replenishment of the buffet area, demonstrating attention to detail and warmth.

Requirements

Experience in a similar role, in a high-volume, fast-paced establishment
Service-oriented mindset with the ability to multitask
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

Consistently support a culture of Enlightened Hospitality
Work closely with our Front and Back of House Team Members to drive our breakfast buffet service each day
Hold one another accountable to creating memorable guest experiences
Display great communication skills and a pleasant friendly attitude
Demonstrate sound knowledge of our steps of service, menu items, and food preparation
