About The Position

The Draft Technician's vision is to provide the most professional and dominant in draft retail sales and service in the marketplace. This role will assist retailers in maximizing their draft sales and by maintaining the quality of their equipment. The technician will focus on areas where 7G Distributing, LLC must improve to win long-term, sustainable market share while the sales team focuses on detailed, tactical execution. This position ensures the “best-in-market” execution of DSD service to on- and off-premise accounts through best-in-class sales execution, and maintaining superior “partner” relationships with retailers and Suppliers. The Draft Technician will serve as a role model for 7G Distributing, LLC by establishing mutual respect with management and co-workers. This role will lead by example to promote teamwork, cooperation, and enhanced morale, operating with candor, integrity, and professionalism in all 7G Distributing, LLC interfaces.

Requirements

Valid driver's license and meets insurability requirements.
Ability to lift up to 165 lbs., at times.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. repetitively.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

Perform draft service activities on assigned accounts and ensure that after hour problems are assigned and resolved.
Schedule and execute draft installations with on-premise accounts as required.
Ensure the scheduling and completion of all reported repair work.
Provide off-site assistance for equipment miss-use situations.
Assist in coordinating service activities within concession accounts.
Assist in maintaining proper inventories of draft beer equipment and supplies.
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the draft room in the warehouse.
Ensure all service and repair activity is documented.
Perform relief activities for department personnel as directed.
Monitor and report all competitive activity to the Draft Manager on a daily basis.
Ensure all administrative paperwork is completed according to 7G Distributing, LLC deadline requirements.
Assist in selling additional draft brand placements.
Promote new packages.
Actively participate and contribute in sales and operations team meetings as required.
Assist in planning, staffing, and participate in special events as required.
Ensure that 7G maintains 100% compliance with all Supplier standards.
Become the retailer’s trusted draft service and draft sales specialist.
Put the interests of the retailer first by ensuring the fulfillment of exemplary service whenever needed.
Understand the market drivers and the economic factors that will impact 7G Distributing, LLC’s business.
Maintain up-to-date safety and draft training as required by 7G.
Perform all other duties as assigned by Draft Manager.
