The Budget Specialist I, under supervision, performs routine budget preparation and analysis work. This position provides advice and assistance concerning budget and funding procedures and methods, assists in the monitoring, processing, and tracking of requests, and helps review, evaluate, and prepare requests for funds. The role also assists in the preparation of the annual operating budget, conducts training, and may serve as a liaison with financial, payroll, and/or human resources.
