About The Position

This position involves obtaining, paying, and receiving invoices, performing monthly account and procard/travel reconciliation, controlling expenditures from accounts, and creating budget revisions. The role also includes maintaining and reconciling various departmental and college indexes, logging transactions, and reconciling numerous college and departmental accounts. Additionally, the coordinator will submit travel estimates on behalf of travelers, initiate hiring paperwork for various personnel, receive, log, and deliver deposits, and assist in drafting contracts with external partners. The position requires independently managing special projects assigned by the supervisor and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of two years clerical or related experience
  • Ability to interpret and follow office policies and procedures
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with students, faculty and other personnel
  • Evidence of typing ability
  • Computer skills
  • Ability to use word processing and other software

Nice To Haves

  • A bachelors degree
  • Financial experience especially in a university setting
  • Experience using Talon
  • Experience using Adobe Acrobat

Responsibilities

  • Assist in drafting contracts to be used in conjunction with external partners
  • Independently manages special projects assigned by the supervisor
  • Other duties as assigned
