The Budget Manager is responsible for the financial management of specific cost centers assigned within Ocean Conservancy’s conservation programs. Within their assigned portfolio, the Budget Manager manages the full lifecycle of compliance for restricted grants, matching funds and unrestricted funding. The incumbent works across multiple cost centers, as needed, to manage financial reporting and analysis, program and project budgets, revenue recognition, cost proposals and lead financial system data entry. This position ensures compliance with donor and Ocean Conservancy policies regarding the use of funds. As the primary financial liaison to program staff, the Budget Manager leads efforts to achieve alignment across executive, program and development staff on financial information.
