We are seeking a collaborative and solution-oriented leader for the role of Budget & Capital Systems (BACS) Supervisor. The BACS Supervisor (Strategic Advisor 2) provides critical systems support in the Accounting and Budgeting Services Division, within the Finance and Administrative Service Department (FAS), reporting to the Deputy Division Director. In this role, you will plan, manage, and maintain two systems; the department’s financial planning and modeling system and the future capital project delivery system. This position will partner with business stakeholders to analyze, optimize and enhance existing application functions and will use their knowledge of UX (user experience) concepts to enhance user experience. The position will lead a small team that will work closely with stakeholders, Seattle IT and software vendors to facilitate the delivery and development of application functionalities in a timely manner and within the scope agreed upon. This includes keeping up with technological advancements to proactively analyze and advocate for enhancements and new features, lead the intake and prioritization of product defects and enhancement requests, resolve technical issues, and oversees day to day administration. You and the team will serve as system administrators while also developing monthly reports and dashboards to support stakeholders including financial analysts, capital delivery leadership.
