About The Position

ProSource360 is looking for a Budget Analyst in support of a Division within the Defense Health Agency. This position will perform a wide variety of tasks associated with supporting government and military staff in the conduct of day-to-day operations, assisting with both complex and general financial and administrative duties. The successful candidate will have minimum five years of progressive experience with DoD budgeting and financial management.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years DoD budget experience
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Microsoft Excel Advanced User
  • Must have familiarity with Unfunded Requirements requests
  • Must have familiarity with Input to Program Objectives Memorandum (POM) submissions
  • Must have familiarity with Program Management Review slides
  • Must have familiarity with Quarterly Program Review slides

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM)

Responsibilities

  • Provide analysis, development, and preparation of business and financial management transactions and documents.
  • Support financial analyses of program budgets and execute budget planning activities in order to achieve business management objectives.
  • Analyze financial management reports and business processes to determine enhancements and efficiencies needed to improve business management performance.
  • Track and report on project performance, providing a real-time, comprehensive, and prioritized view of all Project/Product funds.
  • Ensure financial products produced comply with DoD, and Federal regulations, laws, policies, and standards while generating and maintaining the appropriate supporting documentation.
  • Research and recommend corrective actions and solution(s) to resolve complex financial problems and issues.
  • Effectively manage deadlines to provide quality financial products for a portfolio of contracts.
  • Prepare and conduct senior level presentations or briefings.
  • Work daily in the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) assisting in the creation of Purchase Requisitions, Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs) (Direct and Reimbursable), Purchase Orders (Direct and Reimbursable), Funds Commitment Documents, Cost Transfers, and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) Elements.
