About The Position

The Fiscal Section Supervisor works to support and implement the Department's mission to protect, sustain, and improve a clean and healthful environment to benefit present and future generations. The Section Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the section. The Fiscal Section Supervisor oversees division-wide fiscal operations supporting the division's programs and activities to ensure they are carried out at the lowest practical cost. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required in accounting, business administration, or a related field that includes direct experience in accounting or management.
• Three (3) or more years of progressively responsible accounting or budgeting, or directly related experience.
• Demonstrated experience in leading people is required, although this may be from roles other than formal supervisory experience.

Nice To Haves

• Education or experience in a related field preferred.
• Experience in government accounting and budgeting is preferred (including Statewide Accounting, Budgeting, and Human Resources System (SABHRS) and IBARS).
• Alternative combinations of education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Responsibilities
