About The Position

As a Budget Analyst on our team, you’ll work on a financial management strategy to help the Army succeed. You’ll work with multiple internal offices and stakeholders to develop an actionable plan for your client to secure the funding needed to achieve their goals. This is an opportunity for you to learn the laws, regulations, and policies that will help your client develop well-formed requirements. Once the funding is in place, you’ll make sure the funding is used efficiently through consistent tracking and communication with the organization. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience providing support with government budgets, financial reporting, obligations, expenditures, and audits
  • 3+ years of experience executing appropriated funds within government financial systems such as GFEBS
  • Experience with government systems, including DTS, GFEBS, and Comprehensive Cost and Requirement System (CCaR)
  • Knowledge of different funding appropriations and their lifecycles, including Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E), Other Procurement, Army (OPA), or Operations and Maintenance (OMA)
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Secret clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience providing support in budget, billing, reporting, and financial management for IT initiatives
  • Experience with testing and audits supporting the Joint Reconciliation Program (JRP) or Dormant Account Review-Quarterly (DAR-Q)
  • Experience with iDoc reconciliation and processing PRONs in LMP for contracts
  • Possession of excellent communication skills
