About The Position

Lucas Tree Experts is hiring a Bucket Operator in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, to perform utility line clearance arboriculture. This is a full-time, year-round outdoor physical labor position. Duties include manually removing vegetation from work areas, operating forestry equipment, performing line clearance, pruning, and removals. The company provides paid hands-on, on-the-job training and paid educational courses, with opportunities to earn industry certifications and wage increases. The role requires working 45 hours weekly, outdoors in varying weather and at varying heights.

Requirements

• Experience operating a bucket truck.
• Must be able to work 45 hours weekly.
• Must have a Class B CDL.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Must have a current and valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to work outside in various types of weather.
• Must be physically able to perform the position's requirements, including walking on uneven ground and carrying 75 pounds.
• Must be willing to work at varying heights.
• Must be willing and able to learn to run a bucket truck and operate equipment safely.
• Must be willing and able to obtain and maintain licenses and certifications required for the position.
• Must successfully complete a post-offer physical and drug screen, as well as background and motor vehicle checks.

Responsibilities
