Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in SAP or cloud-based integration development
  • Hands-on experience with SAP BTP services (Integration Suite, API Management, Event Mesh)
  • Strong experience with APIs, middleware, and data transformation (JSON, XML, IDoc)
  • Solid understanding of SAP ecosystems (ECC, S/4HANA, PO/PI, etc.)
  • Experience with cloud platforms and modern integration patterns
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployments
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot integration issues across distributed systems

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP Extension Suite, CAP, UI5, Node.js, or Java
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines
  • Exposure to Azure integration or hybrid integration architectures
  • Understanding of event-driven and microservices architectures
  • SAP BTP or Integration Suite certifications

Responsibilities

  • Design and build integrations using SAP BTP services (Integration Suite, API Management, Event Mesh)
  • Develop inbound, outbound, and bidirectional interfaces between SAP and non-SAP systems
  • Implement APIs, event-driven integrations, and middleware solutions aligned with enterprise standards
  • Perform data transformation and mapping (JSON, XML, IDoc) based on business requirements
  • Partner with application owners, architects, and business teams to gather and refine integration requirements
  • Contribute to technical design discussions including interface logic, APIs, and event-driven architectures
  • Support enterprise integration patterns such as Hub-and-Spoke and Pub/Sub
  • Support integration testing, deployment, and release management activities
  • Monitor integrations and troubleshoot production issues across distributed systems
  • Ensure reliability, performance, and operational stability of integrations
  • Ensure integrations meet security, privacy, and compliance requirements—especially for sensitive data
  • Align solutions with enterprise standards, best practices, and integration governance models
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and estimation
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, design artifacts, and operational runbooks
  • Contribute to Integration Hub assets and reusable integration components
