Requirements

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, OR currently enrolled in a college/university program studying Psychology, Education, Special Education, or a related field
Minimum requirement: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Must successfully pass a background check
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current car insurance required
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, carrying, frequent walking, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, and twisting while interacting with clients

Nice To Haves

At least one year of experience working with children or teens with special needs highly preferred
Experience working with children or teens preferred
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred, or currently in the process of obtaining certification (training provided)

Responsibilities

Create a fun, engaging, and motivating environment that promotes skill development and positive client outcomes
Implement individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment programs
Provide direct one-on-one ABA therapy under the supervision of a BCBA, BCaBA, or Case Manager
Teach developmental and behavioral skills using ABA principles and techniques
Effectively respond to and reduce challenging or disruptive behaviors
Collect and record data on client goals using an online documentation system, including session summaries completed after each treatment session
Support parents, teachers, and caregivers by modeling and teaching strategies across the child’s natural environments
Contribute creative ideas and activities to help clients achieve treatment goals
Maintain consistent and effective communication with team members to ensure high-quality care and collaboration
