About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a BSC Engineering Site Strategy Sr. Manager (Level L) to join the BSC Engineering Site Transformation and Future Readiness organization in North Charleston, SC. This role manages and influences employees and managers who develop projects and program plans at all levels across functional areas and executes all project phases to achieve objectives within scope, time, quality, and constraints from initiation to post completion. The position collaborates with the 787 Program, site, and enterprise on engineering strategy and is responsible for integrating multi-organizational plans for engineering site strategy around People, Product, and Innovation. It also ensures readiness and standard gates adherence, including development and oversight of the engineering technical roadmap to support current and future rate needs with robust execution, plans, and cadence. The role involves working with IPTs, Partners, and Suppliers to ensure engineering readiness via project management and improvements. A strong strategic mindset, relationship and operational excellence, and knowledge, development, and implementation of a management system are required. The role leads people development strategy and is responsible for leading first-line managers, managing budgets, staffing, and metrics. It emphasizes inspiring and empowering the team through collaboration, communication, and caring, and building a welcoming culture by seeking different perspectives, speaking up, and actively listening. Requirements

Bachelor degree
3+ years of leadership experience
5+ years of experience with the project/program management
Able and willing to travel domestically and internationally
Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities
