About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a BSC Engineering Site Strategy Sr. Manager (Level L) to join the BSC Engineering Site Transformation and Future Readiness organization in North Charleston, SC. This role manages and influences employees and managers in developing projects and program plans across functional areas, executing all project phases to achieve objectives within scope, time, quality, and constraints from initiation to post completion. The position collaborates with the 787 Program, site, and enterprise on engineering strategy, integrating multi-organizational plans for engineering site strategy around People, Product, and Innovation. It is responsible for readiness and standard gates adherence, including the development and oversight of the engineering technical roadmap to ensure enablers in design, technology, and processes support current and future rate needs with robust execution, plans, and cadence to align with site and program requirements. The role also involves working with IPT's, Partners, and Suppliers to ensure engineering readiness via project management and improvements. A strong strategic mindset, relationship and operational excellence, as well as knowledge, development, and implementation of a management system are required to lead across all levels. The role leads people development strategy and is responsible for leading first-line managers, managing and executing to budget, staffing, and metrics that evaluate business health. It inspires and empowers the team through collaboration, communication, and caring, and builds and nurtures a welcoming culture by seeking different perspectives, speaking up, and actively listening to teammates and stakeholders. Requirements

  • Bachelor degree
  • 3+ years of leadership experience
  • 5+ years of experience with the project/program management
  • Able and willing to travel domestically and internationally
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
