BSA & Fraud Analyst I
About The Position

As a BSA & Fraud Analyst I, you will be responsible for performing Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and fraud prevention functions. You will conduct investigations into suspicious activity and aid in identifying high-risk processes to mitigate risk exposure to AmeriCU. You will also work with department and Financial Center Staff on all fraud investigations.
Requirements
- Perform Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and fraud prevention functions.
- Conduct investigations into suspicious activity and aids in identifying high-risk processes to mitigate risk exposure to AmeriCU.
- Works with department and Financial Center Staff on all fraud investigations.
Responsibilities
- Supports the AVP of Risk Services in the areas of BSA/AML/OFAC to ensure compliance with Credit Union BSA/AML/OFAC policies, procedures, and processes.
- Monitors and analyzes member and business financial transactions utilizing monitoring software to uncover money laundering or other illicit schemes and escalate as necessary.
- Initiates initial investigation and determines if further analysis or investigation is needed.
- Serves as primary Currency Transactions Reports (CTR) processor, reviewer, and filer to ensure all large cash transactions are reported correctly.
- Reviews FinCEN 314a requests and OFAC reports in accordance with 314A and OFAC procedures.
- Conducts Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), and beneficial ownership reviews and ensures required documentation are collected.
