Requirements

  • BS or MS from an ABET accredited college/university in Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, or related degree
  • If driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary, a valid drivers license is required
  • 10+ years of related experience
  • Effective verbal and technical writing skills
  • Ability to work effectively with clients, peers, and subordinates
  • Proficiency in oral and written communication
  • Strong project management and marketing skills
  • Knowledge of facilities-related projects and assessment and investigative services for the built environment

Nice To Haves

  • Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) license would go a long way

Responsibilities

  • Provide consulting services for the built environment, including performing pre-construction, during-construction and post-construction condition assessments, specialized testing, forensic investigations, among other facilities-related services
  • Interact with senior staff members on various facilities-related projects
  • Monitor project progress for performance and budgetary conditions
  • Management of budget proposals and invoices including client invoicing
  • Preparation of reports and proposals
  • Interface with clients with regard to both project specific issues and development
  • Attend project site meetings and assist with the resolution to technical and administrative problems
