Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current P&C Insurance License required within 30 days of start.
  • Three years in personal lines sales, preferably in a call center environment, or equivalent experience in retail sales.
  • Knowledge of direct sales methods and procedures
  • Leadership and supervisory skills including mentoring/coaching skills.
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills.
  • Strong PC and software skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises assigned multi line personnel by developing staff performance and skills via leadership, coaching, motivation, and recognition.
  • Monitors multiple systems to qualify risk and insure risk is placed with proper carrier.
  • Monitors all aspects of team performance, including but not limited to, sales performance, customer experience, work product quality, efficiency, attendance and compliance with established company and regulatory guidelines.
  • Identifies process and performance deficiencies and recommends courses of action to improve sales and resolve operations problems for the assigned unit.
  • Implements corrective action as directed.
  • Investigates and resolves escalated customer issues.
  • Interprets and communicates procedural and regulatory changes to assigned staff.
  • Compiles periodic and ad hoc reports and analyses as required.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
  • Ensures staff completes continuing education is maintained on all Property & Casualty lines of business.
  • Stays current on latest underwriting guidelines for various carriers and products.
  • Coordinates unit activities with other units as required to meet common objectives.
