About The Position

The Brokerage Sales Representative will have complete ownership of a brokerage book of business within the Hub organization. From prospect to delivery, you will be responsible for bringing in new brokerage business, servicing to exceed customer expectations, and delivering a superior product within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Requirements

1+ year of B2B sales, retail sales or service experience: Interacting with consumers recommending products or services based on identified needs
Self-Starter, ability to work autonomously on accounts from end to end
Excellent communication, listening, presentation and customer service skills
Motivated by incentives and growing a book of business
Resilient as business builds over time and cold calling can be grueling
CRM software and Microsoft Office proficiency preferred: Will be documenting new customers, contacts and pertinent information to the sale.

Responsibilities

Own and grow a pipeline with a weekly focus on closing new business and expanding existing accounts
Build strong relationships with new and developing customers while driving long-term growth and retention
Manage all customer communication, including rate negotiations, objection handling, and positioning Hub Group’s multimodal value
Take full ownership of accounts, including profitability, service execution, issue resolution, and KPI performance
Collaborate with Account Management and Operations to ensure smooth onboarding and consistent service delivery
Conduct monthly QBRs with key prospects and early-stage accounts to build long-term partnerships
Operate in a self-driven, entrepreneurial environment with accountability to results
Adapt to market changes and evolving processes while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
