About The Position

We’re looking for a Broker Relationship Manager to join our business development team and take Pine’s broker network to the next level. In this role, you’ll be the key point of contact for mortgage brokers across Canada - building relationships, expanding partnerships, and driving business growth through education, trust, and exceptional service. You'll act as both a trusted advisor and a brand ambassador for Pine in the broker community, helping them navigate our lending products and underwriting philosophy, while championing their feedback internally to improve our offering.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in mortgage lending, or broker-focused relationship management.
  • Deep understanding of the Canadian mortgage landscape and broker community.
  • Exceptional communicator with strong interpersonal, presentation, and customer service skills.
  • Proactive, persistent, and hungry to help partners succeed.
  • Comfortable in a high-growth, tech-enabled startup environment.
  • Ability to travel for industry events and broker visits as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience working with mortgage brokers (either as a BDM, underwriter, or account manager).

Responsibilities

  • Build, manage, and grow strong relationships with mortgage brokers across Canada.
  • Increase broker engagement and deal flow by educating partners on Pine's products, tools, and lending policies.
  • Understand broker needs and provide timely, solutions-oriented support for their applications.
  • Proactively identify network expansion opportunities and onboard new brokers to Pine.
  • Host webinars, attend industry conferences, and organize local events to grow Pine's presence and broker trust.
  • Serve as the internal voice of brokers - capturing their feedback and working closely with Product, Operations, and Underwriting to evolve our products and processes.
  • Use data and CRM insights to track performance, improve engagement, and forecast deal volume.
