About The Position

Broadcast Management Group (BMG) is a leading provider of media technology solutions and managed services for broadcast, live production, and media operations. We work with enterprises, broadcasters, and production companies to build and operate mission-critical systems. Our core competencies include systems design and integration, live production, staffing and operations, and channel playout infrastructure. The Broadcast Systems Integration Sales Engineer will own the overall pre-sales process for BMG's system design and integration projects. This role involves working directly with prospects during pre-sales to understand and discuss their technical needs, design solutions, and create bills of materials (BOMs) for proposals. The position reports to the EVP, Growth and Marketing and collaborates with the sales team and BMG's engineering team, acting as a liaison between client needs and engineering execution. This role is AI-native, utilizing AI tools for research, solution scoping, BOM and proposal development, and technical documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelors in Broadcast Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years in technical pre-sales, systems integration, or broadcast engineering
  • Technical Skills: IP video (SMPTE ST 2110), SDI routing, RF transmission, encoding/streaming, playout automation
  • Communication Skills: Translating technical specs into business value for non-technical buyers
  • Daily AI experience; ability to use AI for market research and analysis
  • Comfort with sales process and ability to partner closely with the sales organization

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end pre-sales process for BMG system design and integration projects, from first technical conversation through final proposal.
  • Engage directly with prospects pre-sales to discuss technical needs and serve as the main technical advisor for complex broadcast systems.
  • Design custom workflows and equipment configurations.
  • Conduct high-impact demos and POC tests.
  • Build bills of materials (BOMs), RFP responses, and price quotes.
  • Build trust with engineers and media networks.
  • Partner closely with key sales team members and the BMG engineering team to align solutions, scope, and pricing.
