Responsibilities

  • Regularly assist Brine Room Operator.
  • Must be able to follow mixing instructions, written or verbal.
  • Must be able to regularly lift bags weighing up to 50lbs, and occasionally move containers weighing up to 250lbs with assistance.
  • Must be able to run salt brines independently.
  • Must be able to communicate mixing changes, problems, and mixing status of tanks in use at shift change.
  • Must be able to maintain a continuous and proper flow of salt brines.
  • Responsible for shutting lines down and notifying proper people if an error is made or discovered.
  • Scan all ingredients. Complete daily documentation accurately.
  • Follow all GMP’s associated with this position.
  • Must know and understand all CCPs for this position.
  • Maintain a positive teamwork atmosphere by actions, communicating and helping co-workers.
  • Complete required annual training and testing.
  • Learn additional production jobs and fill in as needed. May occasionally fill in other production jobs.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
