Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 60 pounds.
  • Must be able to stoop, kneel, and squat for several minutes at a time.
  • Must be able to stand on feet for long intervals of time for majority of shift.
  • Ability to reach with hands, arms and talk and hear.
  • Employee is required to stand, walk, and use hand to finger, handle or feel.
  • Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overall Sanitation of the Brine Room.
  • Adding Salt to the Brine Maker.
  • Cleaning of All Brine Filter’s.
  • Responsible for accurate Vat separations after RMC.
  • Check Salinity, Brine temperature and cheese temperature during the work shift.
  • Help RMC operator change forms, maintain cheese flow to the packing room, maintain brine salinity at 94%.
  • Clean brine and flume filter’s every 4 Hours; clean flume daily.
  • Fogging brine room during work shift.
  • Loading vats into Cages.
  • Foaming of the Flume and Overhead piping.
  • Take Vat samples to the Lab.
  • Clean cages daily.
  • Release cheese from the pit.
  • Add salt to cheese in flume as necessary.
  • Responsible for Food Safety and Food Quality.
  • Any other duties as assigned by management.
