About The Position

Strategic Therapy Associates is seeking a Resident in Counseling (or QMHP-C with 5 years experience) with family therapy experience to join their team in Virginia. The role involves learning and implementing Brief Strategic Family Therapy (BSFT) to assist adolescents and families facing conduct problems. The company offers to cover the cost of BSFT certification and may provide free clinical supervision for licensure.

Requirements

• Virginia-registered Resident in Counseling (LMHP-R) or Supervisee in Social Work (LMHP-S), or eligible to register.
• QMHP-C with 5+ years experience working with children and families also considered.
• Valid driver's license, insurance, own vehicle, and good driving record.
• Passion for serving youth/families, strong communication, and a focus on outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of 8-10 families (ages 6-18), diverted from family court.
• Provide home, office, and telehealth mental health services.

• Collaborate with support services and participate in supervision.
