About The Position

Strategic Therapy Associates is seeking a Resident in Counseling (or QMHP-C with 5 years experience) with family therapy experience to join their team in Virginia. The role involves learning and implementing Brief Strategic Family Therapy (BSFT) to assist adolescents and families facing conduct problems. The company will cover the cost of BSFT certification and may provide free clinical supervision for licensure. The position requires managing a caseload of 8-10 families (ages 6-18) who have been diverted from family court, providing mental health services in home, office, and telehealth settings. Flexibility is essential, with availability required during evenings, weekends, and holidays. Responsibilities also include completing documentation to standards and collaborating with support services and supervision.

Requirements

• Virginia-registered Resident in Counseling (LMHP-R) or Supervisee in Social Work (LMHP-S), or eligible to register.
• QMHP-C with 5+ years experience working with children and families also considered.
• Valid driver's license, insurance, own vehicle, and good driving record.
• Passion for serving youth/families, strong communication, and a focus on outcomes.
