About The Position

The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure is seeking an individual to join the Saint John District as a Bridgeworker working with the Sussex Bridge Crew. As a Bridgeworker, you will work under the direction of the Bridge Supervisor and be responsible for constructing and erecting scaffolding, hanging staging, casting concrete, painting, constructing special components for bridges, repairing damaged sections of wooden bridges, and building falsework and temporary bridges.

Requirements

  • Completion of grade ten (10)
  • Two (2) years related experience
  • Possession of a valid New Brunswick Class 5 driver’s license
  • Written and spoken competence in English is required
  • Applicants must clearly demonstrate the essential qualifications to be given further consideration
