V3 Companies, a multidisciplinary AEC firm, is seeking a Bridge Structural Project Manager to join our Structural Group in Woodridge, Illinois. You will play a key role in delivering impactful infrastructure projects for clients including IDOT, Illinois Tollway, Chicago DOT, county DOTs, and local municipalities, with a strong pipeline and continued growth ahead. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from ABET Accredited university.
  • SE license required.
  • 15+ years of combined experience in bridge and structural design and project management
  • Proven ability to manage scope, schedule, and budget across multiple projects
  • Experience mentoring and developing staff
  • Experience in projects for clients such as IDOT, Illinois Tollway, Chicago DOT, County DOT’s and local municipalities
  • Strong understanding of AASHTO, AREMA, IDOT and ISTHA design standards
  • Proficient in MicroStation.
  • Knowledge of design software (OpenBridge Designer, MDX, LPile, Midas, STAAD)
  • Strong communication and client relationship skills

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree with a structural focus is preferred.
  • Familiarity with OpenBridge Modeler a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage bridge and structural projects from planning through design and delivery
  • Oversee scope, schedule, budget, and quality to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and maintain strong relationships
  • Perform and review structural design calculations, plans, and specifications
  • Conduct quality assurance and quality control reviews of project deliverables
  • Coordinate with internal teams, subconsultants, and clients to advance project goals
  • Support business development efforts, including proposal preparation and client outreach
  • Mentor and develop staff through technical guidance and project involvement
