Bridge Project Manager
About The Position
A multi-disciplined consulting firm with an established office is seeking a Bridge Project Manager for its Des Moines team. The role manages state and local bridge projects, prepares structural design calculations for bridges and other transportation structures, and conducts field investigations to evaluate structural conditions and develop repair alternatives. The project manager will lead and mentor graduate engineers, communicate with clients, agencies, stakeholders, and the public, and assist with business development opportunities related to bridge infrastructure. Salary is commensurate with experience. The successful applicant must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, with an emphasis in structures preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in bridge design.
- PE license in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, or Iowa.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
- Experience working with the Department of Transportation.
- Project management experience.
- Experience building and maintaining client relationships.
- Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
