Requirements
- 3+ years bridge or construction experience preferred
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license (Class 3 an asset)
- Ability to work independently or in a team
- Comfortable working outdoors at heights, in confined spaces and with heavy equipment
Nice To Haves
- Pile Driver/ Bridge Worker Apprenticeship
- Class 3 license upgrade
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment (jackhammers, drills, sandblasters, etc.)
- Perform bridge maintenance: cleaning, sealing, painting, placing structural steel and concrete
- Work at heights and confined spaces
- Follow specifications, safety, and quality standards
- Operate heavy equipment in the winter seasons including snow plows and wheel loaders (training provided)
