Requirements

  • 3+ years bridge or construction experience preferred
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license (Class 3 an asset)
  • Ability to work independently or in a team
  • Comfortable working outdoors at heights, in confined spaces and with heavy equipment

Nice To Haves

  • Pile Driver/ Bridge Worker Apprenticeship
  • Class 3 license upgrade

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain tools and equipment (jackhammers, drills, sandblasters, etc.)
  • Perform bridge maintenance: cleaning, sealing, painting, placing structural steel and concrete
  • Work at heights and confined spaces
  • Follow specifications, safety, and quality standards
  • Operate heavy equipment in the winter seasons including snow plows and wheel loaders (training provided)
