About The Position

The Bridge Foreman is responsible for overseeing daily field operations on bridge construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project specifications.

Requirements

Minimum 10 years of experience in heavy civil construction
Proven experience supervising field crews on infrastructure or structural projects
Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
Familiarity with DOT standards and specifications
MD SHA MOT
OSHA 10
Valid driver’s license
Excellent organization and leadership skills
Ability to effectively communicate
Solid problem-solving skills
Must be able to pass drug screen and background check

Nice To Haves

Minimum 5 years of experience in bridge construction
OSHA 30 Certification

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily activities of bridge construction crews
Interpret and execute project plans, blueprints, and specifications
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Plan and schedule work activities, manpower, equipment, and materials
Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractors
Monitor productivity and ensure project milestones are met
Conduct daily safety meetings (toolbox talks) and enforce site safety standards
Inspect work for quality assurance and adherence to design requirements
Maintain daily reports, logs, and documentation of site activities
Identify and resolve field issues proactively
May be required to work extended hours including evenings and weekends
