Imagine a better future for all of us - and a better future for you. We are looking for a Bridge Design Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. You will participate in the implementation of bridge and infrastructure projects for the Scandinavian markets, collaborating daily with WSP teams in Sweden and Finland. In this role, you will be involved in developing design documentation, analyzing and modeling structures, and preparing technical solutions for complex infrastructure investments. Possibility of remote or hybrid work in our Warsaw or Krakow office.

Requirements

• Higher technical education in construction, preferably with a specialization in bridges.
• Experience in designing bridge structures and infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Polish building law, norms, and industry standards.
• Ability to solve technical problems and analyze design solutions.
• Communicative knowledge of English.
• Very good knowledge of AutoCAD and other CAD programs.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel).

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Revit, Tekla, or SOFiSTiK programs.
• Experience working in a BIM environment.
• Experience with international projects.

Responsibilities

• Designing bridge structures and developing 3D structural calculations and models.
• Analyzing and selecting technical solutions, materials, and construction technologies.
• Developing and verifying design documentation and optimizing design solutions.
• Preparing bills of quantities and supporting the project implementation process.
• Collaborating with WSP design teams in Sweden and Finland.
• Coordinating projects with other disciplines and participating in project meetings.
• Collaborating with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
• Ensuring the timely completion of assigned tasks and high quality of design work.
