About The Position

Join Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson (JMT), a dynamic 100% employee-owned firm seeking a Design Engineer to design transportation structures projects in Maryland and around the Nation from our Hunt Valley, MD headquarters. Responsibilities

Perform engineering tasks in the structural engineering field through application of AASHTO LRFD specifications, and design-oriented computer programs.
Assist in the preparation of bridge project documentation including plan sets, specifications, and engineering estimates including the collection, assembling, and organizing of project data.
Participate in plan and shop drawing reviews.
Drafting using MicroStation.
Assist in the field performing bridge and structure inspections.
Working under the supervision of a Project Manager or Senior Level Engineer.
Perform other related duties as assigned
