About The Position

The Brick Machine Operator will be responsible for learning and operating all extrusion equipment within the making department. This includes the correct setup of equipment, monitoring green brick size, and ensuring the proper application of brick coatings and body additives. The operator will also be responsible for monitoring and recording daily information related to brick quality.

Requirements

• Ability to learn safe operation of all making extrusion equipment.
• Ability to read and understand mix sheets and computer settings.
• Ability to learn procedures for replacing machine parts.
• Ability to maintain production levels.
• Must be a good team player.
• Ability to learn safe operation of overhead crane.
• Ability to operate forklift (license required).
• Ability to measure brick size and maintain quality standards.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Ability to work overtime if needed.

Responsibilities
