About The Position

Brewistas carry out 7 Brew’s mission to inspire a community of kindness through a revolutionary coffee experience. They report to the stand manager and treat interactions with customers, teammates, and vendors as opportunities to build people up. During each shift, Brewistas make drinks, take orders, connect with customers, prepare premixed flavors and teas, clean, and stock the stand. The role is based in a coffee shop and requires a flexible schedule, at least three shifts per week, regular weekend work, and availability for holidays if necessary.

Requirements

Able to create and maintain genuine, uplifting interactions with strangers for up to five minutes at a time.
Able to work carefully and quickly with hot water, coffee, glass bottles, and dairy products.
Able to work outdoors for prolonged periods in varying weather conditions.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Able to stand comfortably for hours at a time.
Able to climb a ladder and use a stepladder.
Able to stand, sit, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed for stocking and cleaning.
Able to walk safely between and around cars in the drive-through line.
Able to use a utility knife safely.
Available to work a flexible schedule and at least three shifts per week.
Regularly available to work weekends and available to work holidays if necessary.

Responsibilities

Confirm customers’ drink orders and enter orders correctly into the point-of-sale system.
Collect payments and correctly count back change.
Prepare drinks and premixes.
Move with urgency to serve customers promptly.
Stay productive and proactive throughout the shift, including during slow periods.
Build genuine connections with customers through warm, positive interactions and body language.
Know the menu and drink offerings, help customers identify what they want, and offer suggestions when appropriate.
Dress appropriately for the assigned position and bring a positive, professional attitude to work.
Know and complete shift-change duties, checklists, and weekly chores as needed.
Be clocked in and ready at the assigned position when the shift begins.
Treat teammates and customers with respect and kindness.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following organizational standards and sanitation regulations.
Follow company procedures for communicating time-off requests.
