About The Position

In the role of Full-Time Brewery Worker - Warehouse at the Milwaukee, WI brewery you will be an equipment owner in the Warehouse. You will be responsible for a specific piece of equipment or a sub-section of the equipment to include maintaining standards, re-applying learnings to like equipment, assisting in the training on the equipment, etc. The position reports to the Line Lead and works closely with other brewery workers and craftspeople.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED is required
  • Valid Forklift license or ability to acquire one upon hire
  • Possess a proven track record of achievement in a high-speed, high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Able to work full time, all shifts, all schedules, all days of the week to include weekends and holidays
  • Previous experience with computer operation
  • Comfortable with the physical requirements of this position including sitting, standing, climbing, or balancing, stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, crouching or crawling. Frequently lifting and/or moving items over 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Driving and operating forklifts to move product throughout warehouse and brewery
  • Operate equipment and clear occasional jams
  • Complete quality checks and basic preventative maintenance tasks on equipment including valves, motors, pumps, filters, and gear boxes
  • Maintain equipment at base condition through regular cleaning, inspecting, lubricating, and center lining
  • Find and fix defects
  • Update standards and create training materials
  • Benchmark equipment and submit improvement ideas
  • Identify and eliminate chronic losses through root cause analysis
  • Track and display equipment metrics
  • Other duties as assigned
