About The Position

The Breeder Clerk is responsible for providing administrative, clerical, and data management support for breeder and live production operations. This role ensures accurate recordkeeping, timely reporting, and compliance with company policies, animal welfare standards, and regulatory requirements. The Breeder Clerk serves as a key support function for breeder managers, supervisors, and field staff by maintaining production data, inventory records, and other documentation.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years office or clerical experience
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel)
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision and make decisions as needed
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Customer service skills
  • Confidentiality is a must.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior poultry or agricultural experience preferred
  • Experience in SAP is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Maintain breeder production records including egg production, hatch data, mortality, feed usage, and flock movements.
  • Enter and verify data in company systems with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare and maintain reports, logs, and compliance documentation.
  • Assist with inventory tracking for vaccines, medications, and supplies.
  • Support audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
  • Coordinate communication between breeder farms, supervisors, and live operations.
  • Create requisitions and record receipts of materials and supplies
  • Prepare and review weekly and monthly operations and accounting reports as required
  • Other duties as assigned.
